AHH! Back to the New Orleans and vicinity tour! This one has Randall sitting at a table on the veranda(it's too nice and too big to just call a "porch", isn't it?)overlooking the grounds of historical Destrehan Plantation, just northwest of the Big Easy. You have to wonder what he is lost so deep in thought over-what is going on behind those emerald eyes-regrets? worries? or nothing in particular? I don't own Randall, of course; he is a creation of Pixar, currently owned by Disney.

Ooh! Pretty! I love the way you drew his eyes (not just the irises, but the purple encircling them) on this one. ^_^ I agree; that verdana is WAYYYY to nice to simply be called a porch.

I is a SpazzChild. I is spazzy. I like eggnog.
^ ^ I like this. He looks so peaceful. I bet he's pondering on what he shall do later on today.
I suggest he takes a nap, have some brunch and take a lovely slow, quiet walk around a park or beach.....
*starts to sniffle* I admire his freedom...
*wants to hug him* I'd like to join him.

Lovely picture once again, nicely detailed. Love his expression. Beautifully mastered. ^^ *favs because it's so nice and loves randall*

It's beautiful work, Sharon. Glad to see a new submission from you. It's been a while!
I have been unbelievably busy, plus I've had a bunch of aggravation-my car engine "locked up" three weeks ago, and I had to have it towed from over an hour away at a cost of $200.00. The mechanic finally got to it yesterday, after it sat in the parking lot of his garage for all that time. Seems that there was a oil leak, which he blames on poor-grade oil and filters, into the oil pan and the oil "fried", forming a thick sludge which the place who changes my oil was SUPPOSED to have emptied, but didn't. NOW I have to replace the engine, for a cost of over $2000.00. I felt that making myself sit down and start creating some art again might be theraputic, at least short-term!

My car has died as well. Transmission gave out. It runs but it doesn't move. So I'm now looking at 800 dollars or more for a replacement (used and high mileage), or going even higher for something with lower mileage. It's difficult, strapped for cash and looking at a bill of that magnitude, plus having to weigh going cheap but only getting a car that will last a year or two, or going expensive and getting a car that will last longer.

Very frustrating!
Lovely, lovely work, pitbulllady! :) Taking a peek at this earlier this morning had a nice calming effect on me, being the peaceful, contemplative piece that it is. Randall's expression, pose, and eyes are beautifully rendered, and again the detail in his scales is just...gorgeous ! The only thing that bothers me a little is the way you drew where the back of the base of his head and his neck are connected (man, that was a mouthful!), but it could be just how his head is positioned in relation to his neck, rather than a mistake per se. *shrug*

That aside, I truly adore this piece, and it shall be promptly added to my Favorites.^^ Again, marvelous work!

Great picture- the surroundings are beautiful too. The way you render Randall has a certain style that comes to surface in all of your Randall pictures, this one especially. The only thing that seems a little out of place is his neck, and the way it's attatched to his head, but it might just be the angle that you drew him in. But, other than that, amazing work!
